A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images. This zine uses personal photography and inspiration, and the project includes a series of images using photograph and text manipulation, while incorporating messages and inspiration that are important to me.

My goal for this project was to create a personal zine that was representative of my personality and showcased playful but important messages and photos in my life. The process started by searching through my photography and selecting photos of places and objects most representative of me.
Process
Once the photos were selected, the goal was to manipulate them in a way that showcases important and playful messages about my life. Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, the design process came to life by focusing on the inspiration behind each photo and reimagining it through text and image manipulation. The final zine was presented as both printed and scanned.
